Menu for Christmas Eve

Phew! I think I'm finally done with all of the food preparations for Christmas Eve tonight! Wait, I forgot the brussels sprouts...

Tonight's Menu:
Appetizers - cheese & salami, crackers, Brie en Croute, aperitif
Entree - Julskinka (Christmas ham), meatballs, prinskorv (not really, all I could find were cocktail sausage), roasted brussels sprouts, potato and sweet potato au gratin, potato and sweet potato latkes, macaroni, beet root salad, glogg, wine, JULMUST
Dessert - peppermint bark, peppermint taffy, peppermint macarons from Trader Joe's

This is more like a smorgasbord (buffet). Pick and choose your favorites.

The recipe for meatballs you can find in my earlier entry.

I made a beet root salad - in this, I chopped up a can of beets, 2 eggs, 2 bread and butter pickle slices, creme fraiche, mayo, lemon juice, fennel, paprika, pepper and salt.
