The Mad Hatter Meal - ricotta sausage bake

I'm as mad as the hatter in Alice in Wonderland right now. I had some Italian sausage and ricotta cheese that was past its expiration date and needed to be used up. I looked at the ricotta. I smelled the ricotta. It was fine.
I then took out my trusty cast iron pan. Oh, how I love that cast iron pan! I'm using it for everything nowadays.
I had some leftover spinach and some frozen tri color bell pepper strips, so I pan fried all of that in my trusty cast iron pan. I poured those in the ricotta cheese. I put in some parmesan in the ricotta mixture. I then took out a bag of frozen mushrooms, put that into a separate container. I then cut the Italian sausages into slices and pan fried those. I then put them together with the mushrooms. But what do I do with the ricotta mixture? I'm thinking stuffed pasta, but I no longer eat pasta, so what do I do? Aha! Put 2 eggs into the ricotta mixture. Pour the ricotta mixture into an oiled (with olive oil, of course) cast iron pan. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees (I certainly hope I got the temperature right!). Let the ricotta mixture saute for a bit in the pan. Add the sausage and mushrooms. Then put the cast iron pan into the oven. Wait. We want the cheese mixture to be cooked through and baked. We'll see how this turns out.
Ingredients:
1 package of spicy Italian Sausages, sliced
1 tub of ricotta cheese
parmesan cheese
spinach
tri-color pepper strips
mushrooms
2 eggs
(omg, I forgot the spices! Oh well)
I just realized - I forgot spices! Oh well. I'll have to season well afterward, then.
We'll see how this turns out.
Update: this was really good! It was like a frittata, really.
